Cod eggs are stripped from adult fish onboard of RV´s and their density is determined using salinity gradient columns - other measurements are: stage, size, DW (subsamples), collected for genetic analysis
Objectives/Hypothesis:
Seasonal and spatial comparison of cod egg densities- Evaluation of population origin, comparison with other data sets, - Is the reproductive volume changing over time, are seasonal differences in egg density visible?
