This model computes the additional CO2 uptake of the ocean after alkalinity enhancement (AE). Biogeochemical variables are taken from observational based data products and averaged over 4 regions for the time 1994-2019.
Model experiments are performed for the variation of the variables, for the case of reentrainment of alkalinity and CO2 into the mixed layer and for permanent and monthly AE.
